Description
Roselle is a dark, resinous extrait from Bujairami. Cherry and pepper open it, oud, lactones and incense give the heart a creamy smoke, and benzoin, cypriol, labdanum and moss build a deep, earthy base. It is made for women. Choose it if you like rich, moody scents with a touch of sweetness at the start.
The Scent Journey
The Opening
Cherry comes first, dark and glossy, with a sweetness that feels almost jammy. Pepper cuts through it straight away with a dry, warm spice. The result is bold and a little dramatic, and it gives you an early sense of the deeper notes waiting underneath.
The Heart
Oud moves in as the cherry softens, woody and slightly smoky. Lactones add a milky, creamy texture that smooths the oud, and incense drifts through with a cool, resinous smoke. The heart feels plush and mysterious, with smoke and cream sitting side by side.
The Dry Down
Benzoin brings a warm, vanilla-like resin, and labdanum adds a rich, amber depth. Cypriol, also known as nagarmotha, gives an earthy, smoky wood note, while moss adds a damp, green bitterness. The base is dark and grounding and stays close to you late into the day.

Longevity and Performance
Roselle is an extrait de parfum, the denser of the two Bujairami strengths. The cherry and pepper project well at first, then the resinous base settles in and you can expect it to stay with you for a long stretch on most skin. Extrait sits closer to the skin than eau de parfum, so the later stages feel rich and enveloping without filling a room. Skin, weather and spray count all play a part.
When to Wear It
Roselle is suited to autumn and winter, when its smoke and resin feel warm and welcoming. It works for evening plans, dinners, concerts and cold weekends. If you enjoy darker scents, a single spray also carries well through a winter working day.
Two sprays is usually enough. The base grows richer over time, so go lightly at first and add more if you want it.

The Inspiration
Bujairami lists Roselle as inspired by Sirene by Fragrance Du Bois. Expect a similar mood and note direction rather than an exact match, since every fragrance house works with its own materials and formula.
Sirene and Fragrance Du Bois are trade marks of their respective owners. Bujairami and Bujairami Scents are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Fragrance Du Bois. We name it only to describe the scent style.
